I have finally worked up the courage to share some house pictures with you. Don’t get me wrong, I love our house but it needs some serious help. Brace yourself because this isn’t one of those beautiful magazine- worthy home tours. Its real and its ugly! The pictures below are proof that every square inch needs a complete overhaul. Although that may be the case I love having a blank canvas to work with. I wanted a house I could make my own and boy did I get it! On the positive side, it does have a great location, good bones, and some serious potential to be a cute house. I will say that most of the Before pictures I have are from the Real Estate listing so they aren’t that great. However, they will give you an idea of where we are starting from and the transformation will be even that more amazing. As for the After pictures stay tuned they will be trickling in very slowly. (Unless I win the lottery sometime soon)

DURING
This surprisingly was a Hot Tub room for the people who built our house. Yes, I said Hot Tub room. From what we have heard they actually put the Hot Tub in and built the house around it. The second owners had to cut it up with a chainsaw to get rid of it. Our plan for this large space will be to instead add a bathtub to create a master bathroom.
We re-opened the doorway between the planned master bath and master bedroom that had been previously closed off.
I don’t have a picture but there was a large closet in the master bedroom right when you walked in the door. It was an awkward layout so we removed the closet and added his and her closets between the bathroom and bedroom.
Future master bath
This used to be the bathroom on the main floor. There was a shower tub combo on the back wall where our half bath is now. The vanity and toilet sat next to each other where the washer dryer pedestal is there on the left.
Opposite of the vanity and toilet was a closet that extended the full length of the room. It felt like a huge waste of space so we downsized the closet and moved the water heater to create a larger laundry room.
